MEISSNER supplies a new plant of world-scale capacity for the production of Dinitrotoluene (DNT) to the customer SEEC (Fujian Southeast Electrochemical Co., Ltd.) in China. The plant uses the MEISSNER process for the manufacture of DNT and features highest reliability and availability. In particular, the plant complies with most stringent safety standards. The scope of supply includes an additional unit for waste water pre-treatment, which is based on the well proven thermolysis technology.

SEEC is one of the biggest manufacturers of Toluene Di-Isocyanate (TDI) in China. The DNT produced by the MEISSNER plant is intended for captive use in SEEC’s second TDI production line with a capacity of 150,000 metric tons per year.
