MEISSNER has developed a new process for the production of alkyl nitrates as e.g. 2-Ethylhexylnitrate (EHN).

Compared to the conventional stirred-vessel process, our process holds a number of advantages:

• wide range of scales from pilot to large scale
• low hold-up
• high purity
• absence of side products
