A MEISSNER plant for the production of Nitrocellulose (raw material for lacquers, paints, and inks) was commissioned successfully and on schedule in 1999 for Nitro Química in São Paulo, Brazil.

The MEISSNER plant has a capacity of 48 metric tons per day and features a continuous nitration with fully automated stabilization and viscosity adjustment plus the special MEISSNER adhered acid recovery.
