Another extension to a Nitrocellulose plant supplied by MEISSNER to Nitro Química, Brazil, has been successfully commissioned.

The extension covers a system for the fully automatic alcoholization of all Nitrocellulose types (including lowest viscosity grades of alcohol-soluble NC types), now employing the largest worldwide inverted filter centrifuge with a capacity of more than one ton per hour (referred to dry matter).
