MEISSNER developed a new process for the production of alkyl nitrates as e.g. 2-Ethylhexylnitrate (EHN).

 

Our process has a lot of advantages in contrast to the conventional stirred vessel process:

  • a wide range from pilot to large scale
  • low hold-up
  • high purity
  • absence of side products
